Today, children in Language Unit 2 searched for invertebrates in the local environment, as part of their Animals and their Habitats topic in science.  They went to forest school and searched high and low to find the habitats of invertebrates.  They discovered them under logs and rocks, in bushes and along the fence.  They examined them carefully and took photographs before returning them to the place they were found.
